What is your excuse?

Esther Jacobs (1970) has no job, pension, or savings account. She lives on a tropical island, and only works a few months per year.

She does not depend on a rich family, nor does she have any other form of financial security.  Yet she has traveled over a hundred countries, and has collected $25 million for charity.

In the Netherlands, her native country, Esther is most famous for having created the ‘Coins for Care’-project in 2002. At this time, the Euro was being introduced, replacing the national currencies of 12 member states of the European Union. Esther successfully collected billions of obsolete foreign coins for charity. Then she turned the charity world upside down by starting the first Dutch donor organization in order to promote transparency.

This is the same Esther who was bullied off an uninhabited Malaysian island while participating in the European version of the reality show ‘Survivor’!

Despite any setbacks or sabotage, Esther keeps on smiling. She manages her circumstances, controls her situation, and achieves her goals.  How does she do that? What can we learn from her?

By sharing her personal experiences, Esther will guide you through life’s encounters and show how to avoid the most commonly used excuses for not attaining your goals and dreams.

Esther’s book was originally published in Dutch in 2009 (3.400 copies sold within 6 months) and is now being translated into English. More info: www.whatisyourexcuse.us
